"The Community" is a short film focusing on a unique sub-culture found when thru-hiking the AT. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a 2,000+ Mile public footpath that stretches from Maine to Georgia through 14 states. "Thru-Hikers" usually take 5-7 months to complete this lifetime journey, all while finding themselves and a unique culture to connect with. The film explores what's unique about this community and what consistently draws folks back year after year.
