2020 OE Holiday Gift Guide
Last year, we put out our first ever “Holiday Gift Guide”, aimed at helping our readers find the perfect gifts for the outdoor enthusiasts in their lives. For our 2020 gift guide, we’re offering more great gift suggestions, this time in conjunction with our #Giveashit campaign.
We are asking companies in the outdoor industry to give back to the public lands that they profit off of. Our goal is to change the way the industry works; we want every company to continually give back to public land conservation, education, and protection. So far we have seven great companies on board with the campaign. The best way to tell the industry as a whole that we want them to start giving back is to support companies who do, and demand it from those who don’t.
We’ve included one item for each company, along with a description, photo, and most importantly - where your money will be going to for each company you shop from. Keep in mind that these businesses aren’t doing this just for the holiday season - this is a longterm pledge that they have made for all profits - which is what we're asking of the entire industry.
So this year, when you buy a gift from our gift guide, know that not only are you going to get a useful item for your next hike, bike trip, or other adventure - a portion of your money will go directly to efforts to protect public lands. It’s the perfect way for you to #Giveashit.
